What
Does It Do?
(1)
Edith removes old "From" and "To" Email
addresses from the body of the Email. It also removes "Subject" lines in the body of the Email.
(2)
Edith removes superfluous spaces.
(3)
Edith removes superfluous greater-than signs
(">").
(4)
Edith removes extra blank lines, as specified by your
option selections.
(5)
Edith removes HTML tags as specified by your option
selection.
(6)
Edith fixes broken, wrapped, and shortened lines
which disrupt normal paragraph formatting.
(7)
Edith formats paragraphs, as specified in your option
selections.
(8)
Edith sits on your TASK BAR after you start it, where all you
need to do is click on it to use it (or use the
"<Ctrl><Alt>e" shortcut keys to use it).

What
Does It NOT Do?
(1)
Edith does not put any cookies on your computer, nor does our
website put cookies on your computer.
(2)
Edith does not add text; it only removes unwanted
characters.

(3)
Edith does not do any spell-checking or grammar-checking.
(4)
Edith does not make any attempt to adapt to individual contents (learning).
Edith is proficient and repeatable. Multiple passes with
the same settings will always produce the same results.
(5)
Edith does not clean up the
"Subject" line of your Email.
(i.e. Edith does
not remove the "Fwd: Fwd:" from the subject line.)
(6)
Edith does not work on mobile devices that do not have the
capability to perform "copy" and "paste"
tasks.
(7)
Edith is only available for PCs.
(8)
Neither Edith nor our website will put you on a mailing list
unless you specifically request periodic product update
information. We will not send you spam. We will not
sell your name or email address.
(9)
Edith does not require you to START the program each time you want to use it, as Edith simply sits on your TASK
BAR ready for you to click on it to use it (or use the
"<Ctrl><Alt>e" shortcut keys).
Likewise, you are not required to LEAVE the program running on the screen between uses.
